An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a supportive and expanding Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in one of regional Victoria’s most attractive coastal locations.

Working across community and inpatient services, you will provide high-quality psychiatric assessment and treatment to adults and older people experiencing a broad range of mental health conditions.
You will provide clinical leadership and governance to a multidisciplinary case-management team, helping consumers navigate a coordinated and recovery-focused journey through the service.
The clinical component of the position is predominant, with additional opportunities to contribute to education, leadership and the continuing development of regional mental health services.
This is an exciting time to join the service, with the Adult/Older Persons Mental Health Unit undergoing a significant $10.9 million redevelopment to provide modern facilities for consumers and staff.

To be considered, you will have:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, or an equivalent specialist qualification – IMGs eligible via expedited pathway or assessed as substantially comparable.
- Current CPD compliance
- Experience in Older Persons Psychiatry across inpatient and community services
- Strong multidisciplinary teamwork, communication and time-management skills
- Ability to supervise and work collaboratively with other clinicians
- Competence using electronic medical records
