Pay: $55,000 Annual Salary (Non-Exempt) + Overtime Eligibility Material Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available to support production schedules.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records within the ERP/WMS system.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Work closely with production, shipping, receiving, and purchasing teams to resolve material shortages and discrepancies.
- Verify material accuracy and ensure proper labeling and storage procedures are followed.
- Track inventory movements and investigate inventory variances.
- Assist with receiving incoming materials and staging components for production.
- Maintain organized warehouse and material storage areas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and material flow.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, material coordination, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
- Ability to accurately manage inventory records and transactions.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
