They are looking to add an Estimator to their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their estimating career who wants to learn from experienced professionals and build a long-term future within the civil construction industry.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day behind a desk.
From the outset, you'll spend time in the field alongside experienced operational teams, gaining a genuine understanding of how projects are delivered before progressing into pricing and tendering. The best estimators are those who understand construction from the ground up.

The Role:

Working alongside an experienced commercial team, you'll be involved in:

• Assisting with the preparation of tenders and cost estimates
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation
• Visiting project sites to develop practical construction knowledge
• Working closely with estimators, project managers and operational teams
• Building pricing skills across a range of civil infrastructure projects
• Developing into a well-rounded estimator with genuine industry experience

To be successful You'll have:

• A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• A willingness to learn and develop your commercial knowledge
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• An interest in civil construction, utilities or infrastructure
• The desire to build a long-term career rather than simply finding your next job
