A major client if ours in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their Melville, NY office. This is a permanent onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule domestic trucks to and from vendors
  • Coordinate the scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills, shipping labels, and tracking.
  • Checking with warehouse that freight is ready to go.

A successful candidate will possess experience working with the following :

  • Fedex
  • UPS
  • Distribution List
  • National and International Shipping
  • Bill of Lading
  • Commercial Invoicing
  • Truck Scheduling
  • UPS World Ship
  • Front End Logistics Experience
Requirements:
  • Person must possess good organizational skills, professional attitude, and the ability to work without close supervision.
  • Person must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Person must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and experience with computer-based ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing environments
