Manufacturing Assistant / Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Assistant with forklift experience to join a busy South Auckland manufacturing operation producing building materials.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in quality, and is looking for stable, long-term employment with consistent hours.

The job will entail:

• Assisting with the manufacturing and production of building materials
• Use of Hand and power tools 
• Completing stock counts 
• Operating forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
• Machine operation and production support
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures

To succeed in this role, you will:

• Have experience in a manufacturing and warehousing environment
• Have a valid counter balance and reach forklift licence
• Be physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting throughout the day
• Have proven attention to detail
• Have proven reliability and attendance
• Be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
