An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing team specialising in Low Voltage Distribution Switchgear.

This customer-facing role will focus on translating customer requirements into practical, technically sound and commercially viable solutions across the utility, renewable energy and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and application support to customers, partners and Sales teams.
  • Support tenders, prequalification, technical approvals and vendor onboarding.
  • Develop technical solutions, product specifications and cost models.
  • Support product development, testing, validation and field trials.
  • Identify customer and market requirements and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, training materials and application guides.
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Operations.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and technical forums.

About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in utility, electrical distribution, renewable energy or industrial markets.
  • Experience in application engineering, technical sales, product development or product management.
  • Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
  • Understanding of relevant industry standards, utility specifications and product qualification processes.
  • Strong customer focus, commercial awareness and communication skills.
