HR & OHS Business Partner

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturer supplying products to the medical industry, as their HR & OHS Business Partner.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with leaders across the business, providing hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle while championing a strong safety culture. Working within a small, collaborative team, you will have genuine influence and the opportunity to make a visible impact.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, you will take ownership of operational HR activities while ensuring OHS compliance and continuous improvement across the site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition
• Employee relations and performance management
• Coaching leaders through people-related matters and change initiatives
• Onboarding and induction programs
• Learning and development coordination
• HR policy and process improvement
• OHS compliance, inspections and audits
• Incident management and safety reporting
• Stakeholder engagement across all levels of the business
• Supporting a positive, high-performing workplace culture

About You

You are a proactive and hands-on HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and partnering with leaders to solve problems and drive outcomes.
You will bring:

• Previous experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
• Strong employee relations and performance management experience
• Demonstrated OHS knowledge and practical experience
• Manufacturing, industrial or production environment experience (essential)
• A degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial acumen and sound business judgement
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
