We are seeking two Data Center Smart Hands Technicians to support a short-term hardware/decommissioning project from September 28 through October 2.

Responsibilities:

  • Move approximately 20 fully populated racks from the data center floor to designated storage areas
  • Perform internal inspections of servers and remove components, including TPMs
  • Remove large 4U hardware from CPI cabinets
  • Remove system boards and components from switches and other network hardware
  • Handle data center equipment carefully and follow all onsite safety and handling procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous data center, smart hands, hardware, or decommissioning experience preferred
  • Comfortable working inside servers and network equipment
  • Experience with rack-mounted hardware and basic hand tools
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including moving and handling heavy equipment
  • Reliable and available for the full project duration, September 28–October 2
