About our Role
AWX is partnering with a well-established civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure, maintenance and development projects across Townsville, the Burdekin and the wider North Queensland region.
With a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork Our client is seeking experienced Project Systems Representatives to join their professional and supportive team on a range of ongoing civil construction projects.
What you'll do
Preparing and maintaining quality documentation
Completing end-of-month reporting and project administration
Using Microsoft Office Suite to manage project documentation and reporting
Preparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments and Work Procedures
Reading and interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and preparing associated risk assessments
Completing safety, traffic and environmental documentation
Reading and interpreting work procedures
Assisting the Project Supervisor and project team across all aspects of project delivery
Managing emails and phone communications
Conducting contractor inductions
Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
Ensuring a safe, organised and compliant work environment
Working both independently and collaboratively within the project team
What you'll need
Construction White Card (essential)
Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry
Demonstrated experience preparing SWMS, Risk Assessments, Work Procedures and interpreting SDS documentation
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, quality documentation and end-of-month reporting
Current C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport
Ability to work away from home on a 9-day fortnight or 10/4 roster, including night works when required
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to follow direction while also working autonomously
Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physically fit and able to complete a pre-employment medical (including regular blood testing where required)
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
