Schedule: Approximately 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., weekend availability required

Position Summary

We are seeking a Temporary Quality Assistant to support our Quality Assurance (QA) department. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and following established food safety and quality procedures.

Required Qualifications

Full proficiency in English reading and writing

Strong comfort with technology and computer systems (email, electronic forms, basic data entry)

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures

Weekend availability required

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily Food Safety and Quality walks throughout the facility

Assist with QA documentation control and record-keeping

Collect microbiological samples from the facility

Place products or materials on QA hold when required

Maintain full understanding of and adherence to HACCP procedures

Assist with training employees on quality and food safety requirements as needed

Support customer complaint investigations

Perform calibration of temperature-measuring tools and equipment

Provide general support to the Quality Assurance team
