We’re partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy company that’s transforming lives through clean, affordable energy solutions across emerging markets. They’re now expanding their UAE operations and looking for a Senior Programmer to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 10-15 developers within a collaborative and purpose-driven engineering environment. You’ll balance hands-on technical involvement with people leadership, playing a key role in shaping software architecture, improving development processes, and ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong leader who enjoys mentoring teams, working cross-functionally, and contributing to solutions that make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of around 15 software engineers
- Architect, design, and implement high-quality software solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Oversee code reviews, technical design decisions, and engineering best practices
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and technical innovation
- Collaborate closely with product, business, and leadership stakeholders to align technology with strategic goals
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable across environments
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft development environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in MSSQL and database management
- Proven leadership or people management experience within a technical team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proactive, adaptable mindset suited to a fast-paced, impact-driven organization
