This multi-disciplinary firm takes a cutting-edge approach to building services design and is dedicated to delivering excellence in both technical solutions and client service. From concept to completion, they are passionate about developing sustainable building services solutions, with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and oversee fire protection engineering projects.
- Conduct site assessments, evaluate risks, and analyse codes to identify fire hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, designers, and regulatory bodies to integrate fire safety measures into building designs and construction plans.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates, addressing queries, and delivering outstanding customer service.
You will have the following skills:
- At least 5-9 years local experience
- Permanent work rights in Australia
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred
- Proficiency in fire protection system design software
- Can work autonomously with strong leadership, communication & collaboration skills
- Can work on projects throughout the lifecycle
This opportunity is a good one because:
- $110,000 - $150,000 per year + super, depending on experience
