About the role
This is an end-to-end payroll position responsible for processing 100 permanent employees on a monthly payroll cycle. This role has a strong focus on awards and EBA interpretation, overtime calculations, penalty rates, payroll reporting and reconciliations, and compliance across Australia and New Zealand payroll operations.
Please note, this role is required to be performed on-site.
Key responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 100 permanent employees (Australia & NZ)
  • Interpret Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)
  • Calculate overtime, allowances, and penalty rates
  • Complete payroll reporting and reconciliations
  • Ensure payroll compliance in line with relevant ANZ legislation and policies
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Maintain payroll records and support audit requirements
Essential skills
  • End-to-end payroll experience across Australia & NZ
  • Understanding of ANZ payroll legislation
  • Payroll reporting or accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Stakeholder management skills
