Technical SEO Product Manager

Overview

Client is seeking a Technical SEO Product Manager to lead a high-impact initiative focused on resolving technical SEO challenges across a complex, multi-language global web platform. This role will partner closely with engineering teams, product owners, and SEO consultants to translate technical recommendations into actionable development plans and successful implementations. This is a reporting-focused role requiring strong analytics and SEO measurement expertise.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams and product owners to translate technical SEO recommendations into development stories, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Coordinate across multiple business and technology teams to align priorities, timelines, and technical requirements.
• Evaluate technical SEO solutions within existing web architecture, CMS environments, CDN configurations, and international website structures.
• Drive execution of technical SEO enhancements while balancing competing priorities across development teams.
• Ensure implementations align with SEO best practices and maintain site performance and user experience standards.
• Work with external SEO consultants and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful delivery of SEO initiatives.
• Measure SEO performance, engagement metrics, and channel effectiveness using analytics platforms.
• Support reporting and analysis related to SEO performance, AI optimization initiatives, and generative search strategies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience supporting technical SEO or web development initiatives.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and implementation strategies.
• Experience with multi-language and international website architectures.
• Experience working with CMS platforms, including enterprise content management systems.
• Knowledge of CDN technologies, preferably Akamai.
• Experience with hreflang implementation, crawl optimization, site architecture, and website performance optimization.
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum delivery teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience using Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics for SEO measurement and reporting.
• Experience measuring SEO performance, engagement metrics, AI optimization initiatives (AIO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• Experience supporting large enterprise or Fortune 500 websites.
• Background in international SEO and multi-market digital strategies.
• Experience with OpenText TeamSite.
• Experience optimizing enterprise CMS and CDN environments.
• Experience in technical consulting or implementation-focused roles.

Work Details
