Overview
A large, national engineering/repair and logistics services provider is hiring a Site Operations Manager to lead all operational aspects of a branch location supporting major telecommunications and broadband providers. This leader will oversee production/technical services, logistics, and inventory control; develop and coach leaders and hourly teams; and drive service, quality, safety, and financial performance. The role serves as the primary operational interface to an on-site customer and partners with internal functions (IT, HR, Accounting, Program Management, Quality) to resolve issues and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations, including technical/production workflows, logistics, and inventory control.
• Ensure customer service expectations are met, achieving service-level metrics and quality performance goals.
• Own branch P&L and budgeting; manage revenue/expense drivers and improve operating performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across the site; standardize processes and implement best practices.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships; identify opportunities to expand services and improve outcomes.
• Prepare operational and financial reports/analyses for customer and internal stakeholders.
• Support forecasting and the monthly close process, including reconciling forecasted results to general ledger results.
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs and applicable OSHA/state workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain compliance with facility security requirements and related procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related discipline preferred.
• 10–15+ years of operations management experience (required).
• 10+ years in high-volume distribution/3PL, manufacturing, technical service (testing/repair), or forward/reverse logistics.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated coaching and employee development.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical/financial acumen; able to use data to identify trends and drive decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (strong Excel preferred; Access/Project a plus).
