Lead Low Voltage Technician – Nashville, TN

Join Next Level Technician as a Lead Low Voltage Technician in Nashville, TN! Earn $22–$30/hr based on experience while working with a growing systems integrator on commercial installation projects throughout the region. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with excellent long-term growth into leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead small crews on structured cabling installation projects while setting the pace and maintaining quality standards.
  • Install, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling.
  • Execute small to mid-sized projects independently or alongside a team.
  • Install and support security systems including CCTV and access control.
  • Assist with AV system installations as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documentation.
  • Perform work in commercial offices, warehouses, healthcare facilities, and new construction or renovation environments.
  • Operate lifts and work comfortably at heights when required.
  • Maintain a safe, organized job site while ensuring all work meets customer and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Lead-level experience or the desire and ability to grow into a leadership role.
  • Strong structured cabling experience with CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber installations.
  • Ability to lead small crews, mentor junior technicians, and manage smaller projects independently.
  • Experience with commercial construction, remodels, and retrofit projects.
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, or AV systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working from ladders and lifts.
  • Healthcare experience, including nurse call systems, is a plus.
  • BICSI, OSHA 10/30, lift certifications, or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and basic hand tools/PPE required.
