About the Role As the Facility Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the clinical governance, operational management and leadership of the home. You will work closely with regional leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing strong leadership to clinical and care teams.
- Driving a positive workplace culture focused on quality resident outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
- Leading clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
- Managing budgets, occupancy and workforce planning.
- Supporting accreditation readiness and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and developing Clinical Care Managers, Registered Nurses and broader care teams.
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, medical practitioners and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring clinical outcomes, incidents and quality indicators to continually improve care delivery.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Facility Manager or senior clinical leader within residential aged care.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
- Strong financial, operational and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
