Event Coordinator | Immediate Start
  • 5‑month fixed term contract 
  • $85,000 – $95,000 + super (depending on experience)
  • Sydney CBD, fully onsite role 
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Travel to Gold Coast from 1–3 September for annual conference (non‑negotiable)
About the role

This is a true Event Coordinator role, supporting the delivery of multiple events at once. You will step into an environment where planning is already underway, so the ability to quickly get across priorities and take ownership is key.

You will join a collaborative, close‑knit team of three within a broader organisation of around 13 staff. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating end‑to‑end delivery of 4–5 events across a 3‑month period
  • Supporting and attending the delivery of a major annual conference taking place early September 
  • Managing registrations, event systems and attendee communications
  • Liaising with speakers and stakeholders
  • Coordinating logistics including venues, suppliers and materials
  • Supporting smaller in‑person events, roundtables and webinars
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure events are promoted effectively
  • Assisting with light budget tracking and supplier coordination
  • Occasional interstate travel to support event delivery
About you
  • 2–4+ years’ experience in event coordination 
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities at once
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident working across systems and event platforms
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong stakeholder and member or customer service focus
  • A hands‑on approach with a willingness to learn quickly
