Data Center Operations Manager

Location: Chonburi.

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a mission-critical data center facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, operational reliability, and compliance with industry standards while leading a high-performing operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations or critical facilities management, with proven experience managing infrastructure, facilities, and operational excellence in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center Operations

• Lead the daily operations of the data center, ensuring high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of critical infrastructure, including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling systems, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
• Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed according to schedule and industry best practices.
• Maintain maximum facility uptime while minimizing operational risks.

Critical Facilities Management

• Monitor the health and performance of mission-critical systems and respond promptly to incidents.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency operating procedures (EOPs), and maintenance operating procedures (MOPs).
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to improve system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety regulations, and customer service level agreements (SLAs).

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the operations and facility management team.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage workforce planning, performance management, and technical capability development.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and equipment vendors.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, data center operational procedures, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• Preferred Background in Data Center, Cloud infrastructure, Telecommunications or related industry
• Direct experience managing a data center facility is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, incident management, and business continuity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English and Thai.
