Job Description:
A growing manufacturing facility in Fort Worth is looking for dependable Material Handlers to support warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for safely moving materials and finished products, maintaining accurate shipping paperwork, and helping keep production and warehouse operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and finished products.
- Load, unload, stage, and organize materials and products throughout the facility.
- Support warehouse and production operations by ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Maintain accurate Bill of Lading and shipping paperwork.
- Label, stage, and prepare products for shipment.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Perform basic inventory and material-handling tasks.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and transportation teams.
- Perform basic math and documentation tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and material handling.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic clerical and paperwork skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to climb, sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on production and shipping needs.
