• Perform rapid triage, comprehensive physical exams, and medical stabilization.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests, X-rays, and laboratory results.
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repairs, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians and trauma teams.
• Provide clear discharge education and reassurance to patients and their families.

• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certification: Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC preferred) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with dedicated pediatric emergency experience.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
• Certifications: Active PALS, BLS, and ATLS (preferred) certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pediatric emergency medicine or a pediatric intensive care setting is highly preferred.
