We’re partnering with a well-regarded Town Planning consultancy that is seeking a Town Planner with circa 2–3 years’ experience to join their growing team.

This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of development projects throughout Victoria while being mentored by experienced industry leaders in a collaborative and high-performing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and managing planning permit applications.
• Reviewing planning controls, zoning, and overlays.
• Coordinating specialist consultant inputs.
• Liaising with councils, referral authorities, and stakeholders.
• Advising clients on planning risks, opportunities, and approval pathways.
• Preparing planning reports, submissions, and supporting documentation.
• Managing multiple projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

This role is ideal for someone looking to move beyond basic application processing and develop into a well-rounded consultant with strong technical and commercial capability.

What We’re Looking For

• Circa 2–3 years’ experience in a Town Planning Consultancy (ideally)
• Strong understanding of the Victorian Planning Scheme
• Excellent written communication and report writing skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Confident stakeholder and client communication skills
• Relevant Planning qualification
