Site Manager | Large-Scale Modular Construction Project | South Brisbane

Our client is a recognised leader in Australia's modular construction sector, combining innovative off-site manufacturing capabilities with cutting-edge automation technology to deliver projects faster, safer, and more efficiently than traditional construction methods. With a strong national presence and a growing pipeline of work, they are currently delivering a major modular development in South Brisbane and are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead site operations.

What's Required? We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record delivering commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Previous experience delivering modular construction projects (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong commercial construction background across new build projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Outstanding organisational and planning abilities
• The ability to manage fast-paced construction programmes and meet critical deadlines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive site teams and subcontractors
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Solid knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and best practices
• Trade or tertiary qualifications relevant to the construction industry

The Role Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of all on-site activities and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this large-scale modular project.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating and scheduling subcontractors, trades, and deliveries
• Driving programme outcomes and maintaining construction timelines
• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Managing site-based quality assurance processes
• Conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Monitoring site productivity and resolving construction issues as they arise
• Liaising with project stakeholders, consultants, and suppliers
• Maintaining site documentation and reporting requirements
• Promoting a positive site culture focused on safety, quality, and performance
