Forklift & Hoist Operator

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift & Hoist Operators for ongoing construction projects across Brisbane CBD, with current opportunities in Teneriffe and Fortitude Valley.
These are long-term roles for ticketed labourers who are confident operating forklifts and hoists on busy commercial construction sites while also assisting with general labouring duties. You'll support site operations by moving materials, assisting trades, and helping keep projects running efficiently. Immediate starts are available, with the potential to be on site as soon as tomorrow.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Operating forklifts safely on active construction sites
• Loading and unloading deliveries from trucks
• Transporting materials and equipment around site
• Operating personnel and/or materials hoists as required
• Assisting trades with day-to-day site activities
• General labouring, site clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment
• Working closely with site supervisors and other trades

WHAT YOU'LL GET

• $40-$45 per hour + super
• Daily travel allowance ($22.41)
• Meal allowance for shifts over 9.5 hours
• Overtime paid at time and a half and double time
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing work with opportunities to transition into permanent positions

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Current HP Hoist Licence
• Construction White Card
• Previous experience operating forklifts and hoists on active construction sites
• Ability to work safely and effectively within a team
• Reliable transport (preferred)
• Full PPE and availability for an immediate start
