About the role:
The OpenText Consultant is responsible for delivering configuration, support, and functional enhancement of OpenText and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions across enterprise environments. This role aligns requires strong functional analysis skills, hands‑on configuration capability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with technical teams, functional SMEs, and business stakeholders. The OpenText Consultant supports solution design, configuration, testing, and issue resolution to ensure high‑quality content management outcomes.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Experience implementing or supporting OpenText solutions such as Content Server, Extended ECM, Document Management, or Records Management
- Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into functional specifications and configuration activities
- Experience with OpenText workflows, content structures, metadata modelling, and permissions
- Understanding of integration between OpenText and ERP/enterprise applications (SAP experience desirable)
- Experience in functional testing, validating content management processes and workflows
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within agile delivery environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Required Australian Citizenship and Mandatory AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
- NV1 Clearance is preferred

- Ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders to understand content requirements and functional needs
- Strong consulting mindset, with the ability to communicate technical ECM concepts in clear, business‑focused language
- Skilled in facilitating functional workshops, solution walkthroughs, and issue‑resolution sessions
- Strong documentation and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ability to identify risks early, propose mitigation options, and support decision‑making
- Ability to influence outcomes across multi‑vendor and cross‑functional delivery environments
- Strong relationship‑building skills with an ability to work independently in client environments
- Proactive, outcome‑focused approach supporting continuous improvement and ECM solution quality
