Position Summary
(Multiple Openings!) The General Education Teachers are responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all students. The teacher will design and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with state and district curriculum requirements while fostering a love of learning and high expectations for student achievement.

Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum
· Plan and implement engaging, standards-based lessons in core content areas including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
· Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
· Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning.
· Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
Classroom Environment
· Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom culture.
· Implement effective classroom management strategies.
· Promote positive student behavior and social-emotional growth.
Student Support
· Identify students’ academic and behavioral needs and collaborate with support staff to implement appropriate interventions.
· Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP, and 504 meetings as required.
· Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Collaboration & Communication
· Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
· Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and related service providers.
· Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Professional Responsibilities
· Maintain compliance with district policies, state regulations, and professional standards.
· Engage in ongoing professional growth and development.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by administration.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
· Valid state teaching certification in Elementary Education (appropriate grade level endorsement required).
· Strong knowledge of state standards and instructional best practices.
· Effective classroom management and communication skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
