Auto Electrician - FIFO Pilbara | 2:1 Roster

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join a Pilbara maintenance team on a full-time FIFO 2:1 roster.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across a broad fleet of buses, heavy vehicles, light vehicles and site equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems to keep vehicles safe, reliable and operational in a remote environment.

What’s on offer

• Full-time position with weekly pay
• 2:1 FIFO roster
• Guaranteed minimum 10-hour days, with the team currently working 11.5-hour days
• Standard hours are 6:00am-6:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break
• Occasional breakdown and additional-hours work, managed in line with fatigue requirements
• Paid travel time, subject to agreed travel arrangements
• Daily meal allowance
• Shared accommodation in the Pilbara
• Vehicles available for travel to local shops

The role

You will complete electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance across a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, including:

• Buses and coaches, including electric buses
• Prime movers and heavy vehicles
• Light vehicles, utes and cars
• Cranes and site equipment
• Golf carts, lawn mowers and small equipment

You will work with a range of leading systems and brands, including Cummins, Allison, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, BCI and Yutong.

About you

You will be a trade-qualified Auto Electrician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability. Experience working on buses, coaches, heavy vehicles, mobile plant or light vehicles will be highly regarded.

You will also bring:
