Mergent Group is currently seeking qualified Electricians to join a growing team delivering preventative electrical maintenance across retail outlets throughout the Greater Sydney area.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians looking for a stable, full-time role with excellent work-life balance, a company vehicle, and long-term employment.

What's on Offer

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 2 positions available – immediate start
  • Company Ute, fuel card and mobile phone provided
  • Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
  • Minimal to no overtime
  • Work in teams of two alongside a Trade Assistant
  • Variety of retail sites across Greater Sydney
  • 20% Night Shift Loading on ordinary hours

Roster

  • Night Shift Loading: 20% loading on ordinary hours
  • Monday: 3:00am start
  • Tuesday to Friday: 12:00am (midnight) start
  • 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative electrical maintenance across retail facilities
  • Inspect, test and maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults where required
  • Complete maintenance reports and service documentation
  • Work safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and WHS requirements

About You

  • Current Australian Electrical Licence
  • Must have Australian Working Rights
  • Previous experience in preventative or commercial maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • White Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person team
