About the Role
Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Taupō. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys managing teams, coordinating site activities, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for leading electricians on-site, managing daily operations, and acting as the key link between project stakeholders and the workforce. Working across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, you'll be responsible for leading electricians on-site, managing daily operations, and acting as the key link between project stakeholders and the workforce. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current EWRB Practising Licence
- Proven experience leading electrical teams on-site
- Strong knowledge of NZ electrical standards and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
- Experience coordinating labour, materials, and project timelines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Current Site Safe Passport
- Full NZ Driver's Licence
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical activities on-site
- Lead and support electricians, apprentices, and trade assistants
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with regulations
- Monitor project progress and meet key milestones
- Manage site quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
