Low Voltage Cable Technician – Structured Cabling | Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:

  • Pull, terminate, dress, label, and test CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
  • Assist with fiber optic cable installation, termination, and testing as needed
  • Install and support MDF/IDF closets, racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, and pathway systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and cable layouts
  • Maintain organized cable management and labeling standards
  • Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites
  • Troubleshoot and test installed cabling using cable testers and certification equipment
  • Follow customer and industry standards for commercial structured cabling installations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience
  • Experience pulling, terminating, and testing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
  • Fiber optic experience is a plus
  • BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Basic hand tools and PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout the Greenville, SC market as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality installations
