Senior C Developer

A Global Finance firm is seeking an English speaking “C” Developer for a tight-knit Front Office Trading Technology team delivering ultra-low-latency DMA co-location solutions. You will work end-to-end on cutting-edge trading infrastructure, collaborating closely with developers, network engineers, and trading desks, with direct exposure to major global HFT firms. Based in Tokyo, the role focuses on designing and operating deterministic, microsecond-level trading systems that are central to their electronic trading business.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ultra-low-latency C/Linux trading applications
- Enhance exchange connectivity and core application frameworks
- Own delivery across the full project lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing)
- Implement, maintain, and enhance SPB DMA applications
- Provide L2/L3 production support and enable the support team through training and tools
- Ensure compliance with architectural strategy and development standards
- Partner with execution services to deliver cutting-edge solutions and maintain market leadership

Required Skills:
- Very strong C knowledge and intensive practice using Linux
- Experience with extremely low latency and highly optimized development using server side processing and network communication with reliable and predictable performance
- Familiarity with medium scale development & integration projects
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix power tools, regression testing automation, pcap, and networking
- Network protocols, TCP/IP stack, Kernel bypass technologies
- Ability to conceptualize and think clearly
- Accuracy and attention to detail

Working Hours: 08:40 – 17:40
Workstyle: By principle, it will be 1 day working in office, 4 days working from home (Depending on nature of the job, it will be decided by department head)
