Assignment Information: DHS/LA County-Olive View UCLA Medical Center is currently in need of a Clinic Nurse Manager (CNM) with a minimum of current 5-7 years’ Operating Room (OR) experience at a managerial level in the perioperative setting, including Post-Anesthesia Unit, Same Day Surgery, Central Processing Services, and Surgery Scheduling. CNM should have comprehensive experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery. CNM must have knowledge in circulating and assisting during a wide range of surgical procedures, demonstrating a thorough understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols across multiple specialties. CNM must be adaptable, able to anticipate surgical team needs, and capable of providing support in both complex and routine procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room.
Ensure that profiles are submitted for CNM who are fully committed to working a 13-week assignment.
Request for assignment time-off, such as 1 or 2 days, will be at the discretion of the scheduling Nurse Manager and not guaranteed. During assignment period, time-off in weeks or during observed holidays(s) cannot be pre-approved.
Required certifications include active Registered Nurse license, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date. Required degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or preferred degree of Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
