About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
- Population: Pediatrics
Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical coordination for pediatric residents in a children’s residential program
- Attend and coordinate medical appointments
- Prepare appointment paperwork and follow-up documentation
- Maintain accurate health records, logs, and medical files
- Communicate with families, providers, pharmacies, and the interdisciplinary team
- Review MARs and help ensure medications and supplies are available
- Support compliance with OPWDD standards
- Work closely with the supervising RN, ADON, DON, and residential staff
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program
- Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with the Pediatric and/or ID/DD population
- Experience with Residential programs
