A nonprofit organization on Long Island is actively seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its Children’s Residential Program in Suffolk County.

About the Opportunity:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
  • Population: Pediatrics
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee medical coordination for pediatric residents in a children’s residential program
  • Attend and coordinate medical appointments
  • Prepare appointment paperwork and follow-up documentation
  • Maintain accurate health records, logs, and medical files
  • Communicate with families, providers, pharmacies, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Review MARs and help ensure medications and supplies are available
  • Support compliance with OPWDD standards
  • Work closely with the supervising RN, ADON, DON, and residential staff
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse program
  • Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with the Pediatric and/or ID/DD population
  • Experience with Residential programs
