SCOPE OF ROLE: The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Director, Human Resources. This position is focused on recruiting top talent and the initial onboarding experience, diversity equity and inclusion, and other HR projects in support of the business. This role is also a member of the global HR team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage the Recruiting and Selection process. Ownership to include:
- Track open positions on appropriate tracking tools.
- Partner with Finance on Headcount and planning.
- Utilize HR team members as appropriate for participation in the process.
- Partner with hiring managers to find and attract top talent.
- Manage the full life cycle recruitment process for candidates from defining job requirements, advertising, selection, and onboarding.
- Create recruiting tools and search strategies to include postings, ads, selection matrixes and interview guides.
- Partner with recruiting firms as appropriate.
- Ensure a diverse slate of candidates is considered for each role.
- Stay up to date on the latest recruiting industry trends/tools and share best practices
- Serve as a member of the HR team and collaborate with other team members internally to align programs across talent acquisition
- Other projects as assigned
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition
- Proven experience in full life cycle recruiting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong consultative relationship building with leaders and employees.
- Ability to establish credibility and get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible.
- A results-oriented and detail-oriented focus.
- Prior success in developing new processes and leading requisitions at a time.
- Resourceful and well organized. High energy level.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS) a must.
- Experience with ATS/Applicant Tracking System, ideally Workday Recruiting
- Ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams and processes.
