Night Shift - MIG Welder

Shift: Night Shift | 4:30 PM-3:00AM | Monday–ThursdayPay: $20.00/hour + Weekly Bonuses Job Summary Are you an experienced MIG Welder looking for a hands-on opportunity working with large fabricated products? We're seeking a MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Fort Wayne, IN. This company produces large concrete mixers used on cement trucks, along with other manufactured products. In this role, you'll weld components together according to job-specific work instructions using gas metal arc welding equipment. You'll also inspect completed welds for quality and perform rework as needed. What You'll Be Doing As a MIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include: MIG Welding: Weld components together using gas metal arc welding equipment. Follow Work Instructions: Complete welding according to the specific work instructions provided for each job. Component Assembly: Weld fabricated components together as required for production. Weld Inspection: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet established quality requirements. Weld Rework: Perform rework on welds as needed to correct quality concerns. Production Support: Complete assigned welding responsibilities to help maintain production flow. Safety Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work area while following established safety procedures. What We're Looking For Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience required. Previous stick welding experience preferred. Experience using gas metal arc welding equipment. Ability to follow job-specific work instructions. Ability to inspect completed welds and perform rework as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work 4:30 PM-3:00AM, Monday–Thursday. Skills MIG Welding: Ability to perform consistent MIG welds on fabricated components. Weld Inspection: Ability to inspect completed welds and identify areas requiring rework. Stick Welding: Previous stick welding experience preferred. Work Instruction Reading: Ability to follow job-specific welding and production instructions. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on weld quality and accuracy. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other manufacturing and production team members.
