Construction Labourer / Spotter – Redland Hospital

$37.00 per hour + penalties + $21.94 daily travel allowance

Siteforce Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable Construction Labourer / Spotter for an immediate start at Redland Hospital.

You will be working with an established commercial plastering and carpentry company, primarily undertaking spotting duties and assisting trades while works are completed throughout the hospital.

This is an active hospital environment and there are strict site and vaccination requirements that must be met before commencing.

The Role

Your duties will include:

• Spotting for trades and equipment on site
• Assisting plasterers and carpenters when required
• Maintaining safe work and exclusion zones
• Moving materials and equipment
• General construction labouring
• Site clean-up
• Following strict hospital and construction site safety procedures
• Working around an operational hospital environment

Mandatory Hospital Vaccination Requirements

Applicants must be able to provide evidence of the required vaccinations/immunity to meet the hospital's site requirements.

These include:

• Hepatitis B
• Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR)
• Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

Please do not apply unless you can provide the required vaccination/immunity evidence for site clearance.

What You Will Need

• Current Construction White Card
• Previous construction labouring experience
• Good understanding of site safety
• Spotting experience highly regarded
• Experience working around plasterers, carpenters or commercial trades advantageous
• Physically fit and capable of general labouring duties
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and hospital site procedures
• Full Australian working rights
• Available to start immediately
