Project Description:
Our client, an innovative company in the aerospace industry, is looking for a Technical Program Manager (m/f/d) to support cross-functional technical initiatives in Berlin. In this role, you will assist with planning, coordination and execution of development programs within commercial space missions, with a focus on ground station capabilities and constellation services.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the management of Constellation Services development initiatives
- Assist with program planning, execution and progress tracking
- Support the development of ground segment architecture and mission capabilities
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and other stakeholders
- Create and maintain project plans, documentation and status updates
- Communicate progress, priorities, risks and dependencies across the organization
- Support technical discussions and information sharing between teams
- Help ensure transparency and alignment across cross-functional initiatives
- Support the evaluation of technical requirements and recommendations
Your Profile:
- Experience in Technical Program Management, Product Management or technical project coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience supporting cross-functional projects and managing timelines
- Strong knowledge of project management practices and tools
- Experience in engineering projects or technical environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to different audiences
- Interest in aerospace, ground stations, software or space systems
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
- Eligibility for US export control licenses such as ITAR/EAR
Nice to have:
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Familiarity with cloud computing, platform development, APIs or analytics
- Interest in new technology development
- Enthusiasm for the commercial space industry and mission-driven work
- Self-motivated approach to learning and continuous improvement
Framework Conditions:
- Location: Berlin, Germany (100% on-site)
- Duration: Long-term assignment
- Workload: Full-time (5 days/week)
