• Friday-Tuesday 6am-2:30pm
Contract:
• 6 month contract with opportunity to extend

• 2 week orientation
Pay:
Local:
• Starting at $70/hour
Travel (50+ miles):
• $45/hour W2
• $1,246/week stipends (non-taxed)
• Total Weekly Gross: $3,046 ($76/hour)
Position Overview:
Aequor Healthcare is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to work at the Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent City, CA. This is a correctional setting where you’ll provide care to an adult inmate population in a structured and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
• Organizes and provides necessary nursing care under supervision in a correctional facility setting
• Delivers nursing care in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program requirements
• Provides patient care across a variety of correctional health care environments
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team to ensure appropriate and timely delivery of care
• Coordinates communication among providers to promote continuity of patient care
• Addresses ongoing and evolving health care needs of patients within the correctional system
• Promotes efficient, timely, and appropriate utilization of health care resources
• Supports coordination of care to ensure quality and consistency across services
Requirements:
• Active California RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Comfortable working in a correctional setting
• Ability to pass background screening
