About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, the Senior Project Manager will lead the asset management lifecycle of AGPC-owned assets, including capital upgrades, maintenance planning, infrastructure works and logistics.
This role is responsible for leading AGPC’s annual capital works program, supporting long-term infrastructure planning and contributing to the development and delivery of an Infrastructure Masterplan. You will oversee macro-level construction programming, ensuring that infrastructure projects are planned and delivered in a way that supports operational requirements and stakeholder needs.
You will lead procurement and commercial management activities for capital and recurrent works, including budget management, forecasting, contractor engagement and compliance with AGPC policies and procedures.
A key focus of the role will be the development of fit-for-purpose enterprise asset management processes, preventative and reactive maintenance planning, and oversight of AGPC’s storage facility, including logistics, maintenance and quality assurance.
The role also provides leadership across infrastructure planning, construction works and asset management, working closely with internal departments, engineering project managers, contractors, suppliers and key external stakeholders including Parks Victoria, Phillip Island Operations, Formula 1®, Dorna, FIM, FIA and Motorsport Australia.
About You
To be considered for this role, it is expected you would have:
- A strong background in infrastructure works planning, asset management, logistics and complex stakeholder management.
- Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as event management, project or construction management, engineering or business management
- Significant project management experience across complex projects involving multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong procurement, contract management, budget management and cost control experience
- Demonstrated experience working in compliance-led environments, including engineering, construction or WH&S
- Experience implementing asset management systems and detailed maintenance programs
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to lead, influence and collaborate across internal teams, contractors and external partners
- Major events experience will be highly regarded
