With demolition about to commence, you'll join the project from day one and work alongside an experienced HSE Manager and project team, gaining exposure to every stage of the construction lifecycle.
Backed by a strong pipeline of projects across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast through to 2032, this is an ideal opportunity for a junior to intermediate Safety Advisor looking to build a long-term career with a reputable contractor.
About the Role
Working closely with the HSE Manager and site leadership team, you'll play an active role in promoting a positive safety culture while supporting the day-to-day implementation of the project's health and safety systems.
This is a hands-on site-based role where you'll spend your time engaging with supervisors and subcontractors, conducting inspections and helping ensure everyone goes home safely each day.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the project's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations
- Assist with SWMS reviews, permits and high-risk work activities
- Participate in toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety briefings
- Investigate incidents and support corrective actions where required
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and site safety standards
- Assist with audits, reporting and project documentation
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across site
- 2+ years' experience in a Safety Advisor or Coordinator role within construction
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or currently completing)
- Experience working on commercial or residential construction projects
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident engaging with subcontractors and site personnel
- Practical, approachable and solutions-focused
- Passionate about developing a long-term career in construction safety
