The Role
Stellar Recruitment is proud to be partnering with one of Auckland's leading civil contractors to appoint an experienced Civil Estimator.

This is an established and well-respected business with a strong reputation for delivering complex three waters infrastructure projects across the region.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator, or a Project Manager with a deep understanding of drainage, pipelaying and the Auckland construction industry.

You'll be involved in:

• Reviewing drawings, scope documents, and specifications to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bids
• Calculating expenses for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Visiting sites to identify ground conditions, access challenges, and other cost factors
• Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
• Assessing project risks including weather, safety, and price fluctuations
• Setting project budgets and tracking costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a Civil Estimator, or a Project Manager
• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Auckland's construction industry
• Excellent technical knowledge of drainage, pipelaying and three waters infrastructure
• The ability to turn data into clear, commercial decisions
• The confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders where needed
