Our client is a respected specialist town planning consultancy with an established reputation across North East Victoria and Southern NSW. They partner with private sector clients to deliver practical planning advice and successfully navigate the planning approvals process across a diverse range of developments - land subdivisions, commercial, hospitality, retail, industrial etc. 

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their collaborative team based in Albury-Wodonga.

The Opportunity
You'll manage a broad portfolio of statutory planning projects while working closely with experienced Directors and industry-leading clients.

Your work will include:
  • Managing planning permit applications from commencement to approval.
  • Advising private clients on statutory planning matters.
  • Preparing planning reports, submissions and development assessments.
  • Liaising with councils, referral authorities and project consultants.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
About You
You'll enjoy working directly with clients, taking ownership of projects and finding practical planning solutions.

You'll bring:
  • A qualification in Town Planning, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years' statutory planning experience so you can hit the ground running.
  • Experience within private consultancy or local government.
  • Knowledge of either the Victorian or NSW planning system.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach.
