We’re on the hunt for an experienced Water Serviceperson to join a solid team working across Dunedin. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining essential infrastructure, and want to be part of a reliable, down-to-earth team—this could be the role for you.
This is a varied role where no two days look the same. You’ll be working across maintenance, repairs, and installations.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Installing new water mains and service connections
  • Repairing leaks in water mains, service pipes, and meter connections
  • Servicing and replacing valves, hydrants, and shut offs
  • Flushing systems and digging trenches
  • Delivering materials and equipment to sites
What you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience working with water reticulation networks (preferred)
  • Willingness to be part of an on-call and standby roster
  • Physically fit with a strong focus on health & safety
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Full Class 1 licence
  • WTR (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers) endorsement or working towards it
  • Class 2 licence is a bonus
