About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the discovery, design, and delivery of data products within a large-scale Health Data Platform. This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and clinical stakeholders, ensuring that data solutions are clearly defined, compliant, and deliver real-world value.

You will play a key role in shaping how data is structured, governed, and consumed, working across data warehouse and analytics initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role requiring both strong technical capability and the ability to translate between clinical and technical domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and design activities for new data products, defining use cases, scope, and data requirements
• Work with delivery teams to support the development of data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Gather, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements across technical and business stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions including clinicians, architects, and vendors
• Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement
• Develop process maps, gap analyses, and future state recommendations
• Support the development of Privacy and Data Stewardship Assessments for new data sources
• Ensure data products meet governance, compliance, and quality standards
• Enable data discoverability through strong metadata and documentation practices
• Support delivery coordination across multiple stakeholders and workstreams

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within data warehouse or data analytics environments
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and working with structured data platforms
• Experience working with data governance, data stewardship, and compliance frameworks
• Background in health, health informatics, or working closely with clinical stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience delivering data-driven insights and analytics solutions
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience applying quantitative methods and analytical frameworks to derive insights
• Ability to translate between technical, clinical, and business requirements

Highly Desirable

• Experience working on large-scale data platforms or enterprise data initiatives
• Exposure to metadata management and data discoverability practices
• Strong understanding of privacy requirements within regulated environments
• Experience supporting end-to-end delivery of data products
