Front Counter Sales

The Opportunity:

Our client is a major supplier of Fabrication and Welding equipment, along with PPE and associated gases for local businesses in Karratha, WA. Seeking an experienced and welcoming Front Counter Sales Officer to serve customers at the front counter and provide friendly, professional customer service, with a genuine opportunity to move from temp to permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively serve customers at the front counter and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Handle counter and phone sales, enquiries and product requests.
• Process customer orders, sales transactions and quotations accurately using SAP/Computer systems
• Receive, check, pick and dispatch goods.
• Maintain product displays, merchandising and promotional material within the branch.
• Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm

Requirements to fulfill the role:

• Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, retail sales, counter sales, or similar customer-facing roles
• Forklift Licence beneficial
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be physically fit, healthy and strong to assist in the loading of customer vehicles
• Strong customer-service focus and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Willingness to learn the welding and industrial product range
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Must have full, unrestricted working rights within Australia for a long-term role and be resident in Karratha
• Must be able to pass a National Police Clearance
