Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing company in the manufacturing industry. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable with computers, and eager to learn. Previous accounts payable experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process invoices into the company's accounting system.

  • Review invoices for accuracy and correct information.

  • Assist with preparing and processing payments.

  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payment questions.

  • Help identify and correct invoice discrepancies.

  • Assist with general filing, data entry, and other office tasks as needed.

  • Follow company procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous accounts payable or general office experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.

  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

  • Dependable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • No degree required.

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • First shift (7am – 3:30pm) – Flexibility in shift available

  • $20+/hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
