Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly business-driven CRM Business Initiative Lead to own and evolve key CRM-enabled business capabilities across Sales, Service, Customer Experience, and Commercial Excellence. This role is accountable for defining and driving business capabilities that deliver measurable value, ensuring CRM processes are effective, scalable, standardized, and data-driven. The CRM Business Initiative Lead acts as the business owner of assigned capabilities—partnering closely with stakeholders to shape future-state processes, prioritize initiatives, and ensure sustainable adoption and value realization. It is a business alignment position. It is a business leadership position focused on outcomes, continuous improvement, and enabling capabilities that are ready to leverage AI, automation, and emerging digital experiences.
Responsibilities
Business Capability Ownership
- Own and evolve CRM-enabled business capabilities across Sales, Service, and Commercial Excellence.
- Act as the primary business owner and subject matter expert.
- Define future-state capabilities aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
- Continuously assess performance, adoption, and data quality.
- Drive standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure readiness for AI-enabled and automated workflows.
Business Value & Opportunity Management
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
- Build business cases and define expected outcomes and success metrics.
- Prioritize initiatives based on value, impact, and feasibility.
- Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business results.
Initiative Leadership
- Lead initiatives from ideation through adoption and value realization.
- Define scope, objectives, priorities, and success criteria.
- Align stakeholders and manage business dependencies and risks.
- Partner with CRM IT and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Participate in governance forums and business reviews.
Change, Adoption & Business Readiness
- Drive stakeholder alignment and organizational readiness.
- Define adoption strategies and enablement plans.
- Partner with Change teams to support communication and training.
- Monitor adoption and proactively address barriers.
- Ensure transition from implementation to sustainable usage.
Analytics, Insights & Performance Management
- Define KPIs and performance frameworks for assigned capabilities.
- Leverage CRM analytics, funnel metrics, and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Analyze business performance, adoption, and customer outcomes.
- Translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Communicate performance and value realization to leadership.
AI & Future Capability Enablement
- Identify opportunities to enhance capabilities through AI, Copilots, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Partner with AI Enablement and technical teams to align business needs and solutions.
- Ensure AI-enabled capabilities meet business goals, governance standards, and user needs.
- Support adoption and value realization of new digital capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in CRM, Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Product Management, Consulting, or similar roles.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $80,000-$120,000 excluding incentive opportunities. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
