Youth Centre Administration Officer
Full-Time Hours | 1 Month Casual Contract
$49.25 – $53.79 per hour + Super

Youth Programs Officer
This position plays a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering engaging youth programs, activities and events that support the development, wellbeing and participation of young people within the local community.
Working across a dedicated youth team, you will help manage a popular youth space, supervise youth activity staff and foster strong relationships with schools, community groups and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver youth-focused recreational, educational and cultural programs
- Facilitate after-school youth activities and community engagement initiatives
- Build strong relationships with schools, community organisations and service providers
- Consult with young people to identify emerging needs and opportunities
- Support youth advocacy, referrals and personal development initiatives
- Supervise and support Youth Activity Officers
- Assist with grant applications, funding opportunities and program budgets
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and community outcomes
- Promote youth events, activities and services across the community
- Working hours for this position are 9:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, to support and oversee the delivery of after-school youth programs.
About You
- Diploma qualification or significant experience within Youth Work, Community Development or related fields
- Demonstrated experience delivering youth programs and services
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- Well-developed communication, report writing and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of youth-related programs, funding and support services
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Current WA Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Youth Centre Administration Officer
This position provides professional reception and administrative support within a busy youth centre environment. Working closely with the Youth Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility while delivering exceptional customer service to young people, families, community groups and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming reception and front-of-house services
- Deliver administrative support to the Youth Development team
- Coordinate bookings, enquiries and customer communications
- Assist with event planning, reporting and project administration
- Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and statistical information
- Maintain records, filing systems and administrative procedures
- Coordinate promotional materials and assist with social media content
- Process purchasing requirements and assist with budget administration
- Manage facility supplies and support general centre operations
- Promote youth centre activities, programs and events
About You
- Previous administration and reception experience within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Business Administration Certificate or similar qualification
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Current WA Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
