Position Summary
The Crash Records Customer Service Representative is responsible for gathering, compiling, and analyzing crash data submitted by Arizona law enforcement agencies. This role requires reviewing, interpreting, scanning, indexing, and entering traffic crash information into the state's Crash Records Information System (CRIS).
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accurate, and comfortable working with large volumes of data while maintaining confidentiality and meeting quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities

Review and process traffic crash reports submitted by Arizona law enforcement agencies.

Interpret crash data and accurately enter required information into the CRIS database.

Scan, index, and maintain electronic records in accordance with established procedures.

Verify information suspected to be incomplete or inaccurate and research discrepancies as needed.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance related to crash records.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Follow departmental policies, procedures, and data security requirements.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of data entry experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to interpret and analyze information from multiple sources.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer systems.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with databases or records management systems.

Previous experience in a government, law enforcement, or administrative environment.

Experience reviewing and processing confidential documents.

Customer service experience.
