Power BI Developer

Power BI Developer:

• 3 months initial contract with potential extension
• Build impactful Power BI dashboards & insights
• Work with Azure, data models & automation

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This role will focus on building robust data models, developing automated dashboard solutions, and transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
• Build and optimise data models, datasets, and data pipelines to support automated refresh and reporting processes.
• Research, analyse, document, and translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including report development, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets, including log, audit, or transactional data.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based data integration solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
